SHERRINS READYING FOR FIGHT IN THE NIGHT AT HOME

As they continue to lead the outright and Class X standings for the 2023 Mobil 1 Australian Production Cars, Sherrin Racing is hoping to continue their recent run of success when the APC heads to the Sherrins’ home track of Queensland Raceway this weekend.

Across August 11-13, Sherrin Racing will take on three enduro races across the weekend as part of a 37-strong combined field of APC and GT4 Australia competitors, with two one-hour races (Friday and Sunday) to be held alongside the infamous two-hour Fight in the Night on Saturday evening.

Iain Sherrin, driver of the #72 Sherrin Racing BMW M4, currently sits atop the outright and Class X standings as the series heads to its third round of 2023 this weekend, while Grant Sherrin in the #27 Sherrin Rentals BMW M4 is third in Class X.

With plenty of previous Fight in the Night and QR round wins behind them, you can rest assured that Sherrin Racing will be ones to watch this weekend.

APC SCHEDULE:

Friday 11 August

  • Practice – 9.25am – 9.45am
  • Qualifying – 1.05pm – 1.35pm
  • Race one – 5.15pm – 6.15pm

Saturday 12 August

  • Race two (Fight in the Night) – 5.35pm – 7.55pm

Sunday 13 August

  • Race 3 – 10.05am – 11.05am
